Biography
Through acute modes of observation, WU Lok Hang (b. 2000, Hong Kong) takes on a reductive and methodical approach in pushing beyond the boundaries of photographic narrative. Interweaving photography with text and found objects, WU creates visual compositions that are deeply engaged with the process of looking, his works are often encoded with a durational sense of shifts from which both deliberate manipulation and coincidental encounters at once come together and fall apart, traversing the capacity of photographic reading and opening up narrative beyond the photographed subjects.
